The Asset Management Ontario Distinguished Asset Management Plan (AMP) Awards recognize municipalities that demonstrate excellence in asset management planning and a commitment to sustainable service delivery.  

The awards will celebrate organizations that are advancing asset management best practices, embracing innovative approaches to complex infrastructure challenges, and developing plans that clearly link infrastructure investments to community outcomes and levels of service. By highlighting exemplary asset management plans, the awards program aims to empower practitioners, strengthen Council and senior leadership understanding and support for asset management, and showcase successful approaches that can be replicated across the province.  

The awards also foster a collaborative community of practice by identifying municipal role models and encouraging healthy competition that inspires continuous improvement in asset management planning.  

We welcome applications from municipalities of all sizes across the province, and will recognize excellence in the following categories: 

• Small Municipalities (Population up to 24,999) 

• Mid-Sized Municipalities (Population 25,000 to 99,999) 

• Large Municipalities (Population above100,000)
