Description

Through the generous support of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM), the Government of Canada, and the Ministry of Infrastructure (MOI), this training and workshop is free for municipal employees.

We strongly encourage attendees to come for both days, but it’s possible to attend for just one. We also encourage municipal attendees from a range of backgrounds, such as finance, planning, public works, and administration. Municipalities are allowed to bring a team of employees (can be from different divisions) as this reflects the collaborative and inter-disciplinary nature of asset management work.

The first day (December 5th) will focus on asset management awareness building of leading practices. The second day (December 6th) will involve a hands-on seminar for municipalities. Depending on participants’ needs, this could involve working on a Strategic Asset Management Policy or some other project that advances your municipality along the asset management continuum.
