Fixed Asset AnalystI Town of Oakville

The Town of Oakville is seeking a Fixed Asset Analyst to support the development, implementation, and administration of its corporate asset management program. Reporting to the Asset Management department, the Fixed Asset Analyst is responsible for maintaining the Town’s asset registry in compliance with PSAB and O. Reg. 588/17, supporting lifecycle analysis, and ensuring accurate capital asset reporting. The role includes preparing asset inventories, values, lifecycle and condition metrics, and completing all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.

The position provides support in developing asset management policies and procedures, reconciling asset data across multiple systems, and contributing to the creation of Asset Management Plans. It also includes coordinating with Town departments to ensure consistent asset information, reviewing work orders, and providing guidance in the use of JD Edwards and Capital Asset Management processes. The Fixed Asset Analyst liaises with internal and external auditors, supports year-end reporting requirements, and contributes to knowledge building across the organization related to capital asset management.

Asset Management Specialist I (Municipal Sanitary and Storm Sewer Systems), The City of Vaughan

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Asset Management or the Program Manager, Corporate Asset Management, the Asset Management Specialist I provides support in the development, implementation, and administration of a lifecycle management plan including a long-term capital forecast for all major lifecycle expenditures for City assets, with a focus on sanitary and storm sewer system assets. Assists with development and implementation of asset management policy and procedures. Works in partnership with City departments to acquire an asset management work plan that is corporately integrated for City assets, in consideration of the capital budget reserve funds including risk management analysis of capital funding requirements for City assets.
Establishes risk management practices in life cycle cost analysis and performance engineering, to prioritize expenditures in collaboration with the Manager, Corporate Asset Management. Provides support on the management and maintenance of municipal infrastructure and assists in the preparation of annual reports on the state of local infrastructure.

Asset Management Advisor, District of Saanich

Reporting to the Asset Management (AM) Program Manager, this position is part of the AM Program Office which provides centralized AM functions for the organization under the District-wide AM Program, including the development and implementation of the AM Strategy. This position performs an advisory role as an AM subject matter expert for engineered and natural assets, and a project management role in delivering centralized AM projects. Fosters the development of consistent AM culture, systems, processes and practices across the organization in accordance with the AM Policy. Provides guidance and support to all Departments in the development and implementation of their AM Plans. Overall, this position supports continual improvement of AM practices towards the goal of sustainable service delivery.

The Strategy Advisor is primarily responsible to promote, implement and update the Region of Peel’s Corporate Asset Management Strategy. The incumbent must apply their specialized and expert knowledge of asset management and Peel’s Corporate Asset Management Strategy in an appropriate manner to accurately assess the state of Peel’s infrastructure and infrastructure requirements to meet service delivery objectives.

Project Coordinator, Energy & Asset Manage – City of Kingston
